14th Feb- celebrating our FIRST LOVE

With the whole world celebrating Valentine's day .. roses, chocolates, dinners with the beloved, the i-youth at GMC Miri celebrated valentine with their FIRST LOVE..

Earlier in the morning, these two were seen to be up to something...



My... not a bad job..



we had pot bless( candle-lit style) ... a time of sharing our love and fellowship together.. (i would not give that up for the world).. XD


Then it our love songs to our First Love.. Oh..my fave..YOU ARE MY WORLD.. brought tears of joy and grateful ..


The best part of the whole evening (IMHO) were the sharing/testimonies from the Teng Bros. They shared how they came to know the Lord, and the sense of belonging to the i-Youth, they testified the goodness of the Lord. GOD IS GOOD!!!! was proclaimed many many times..Amen!!! GOD IS GOOD

The Lord is indeed good to all of us. These brothers are some of the living testimonies witnessed in the i-Youth which boldly proclaimed the love of God.

How wonderful it is to see the youth mature in their walk with the Lord.

Personally, this valentine was my BEST!!!

ALL GLORY AND HONOUR TO OUR RISEN LORD AND SAVIOUR. AMEN!

Valentine's Day... selfish??

The radio... the tv... the commercials... the shopping malls... everywhere you go... blaring aloud VALENTINE'S DAY, VALENTINE'S DAY....

After reading the article on the History on Valentine's Day...I found the public (esp the $ making ones) are cashing in on our ignorance...

So sad, when the first and original valentine was in John 3:16. Yes, yes... you read right.

What has been originally meant for mankind was NOW DISTORTED to focus on self...

This morning's AiFM DJ was asking how would they celebrate this day and (IMHO)the replies were somewhat selfish... so self-centred.. "I won't go out lo.." ; "I would feel out cos everyone is in pairs" ... bla bla bla

Aiyoyo...

I believe our youth will celebrate valentine's day differently..BECAUSE we know the true meaning of valentine's day.

Remembering what our Loving Father has done for us.. sending His one and only begotten Son Jesus Christ to die for us on the cross so that when we believe in Him, we shall not perish but have everlasting life.

And WHAT a life!!!!

We are surrounded by brothers and sisters in Christ who support and encourage us along the journey of our lives, doing things together and always together.

We are blessed with gifts and talents and we are using them for the glory of God through music, retreats/camps, outings or just simply spending time together.

We are blessed with wonderful parents who support us in our ministry and encourage us to serve God in the ministries He has prepared for us.

AND many many more...

And in view of all these, we will be celebrating Valentine's Day with our Blessed Trinity this saturday 6.30pm..pot bless style.

All glory and honour be to God and God alone.

2nd Fellowship of the i-Youth

First and foremost, we wee indeed very glad to have JT, Alvin, Moses, James visited us last night. Your presence is an encouragement to us all.

Chris, thank you for your strong and regular support for the youth. Ever since you came back, you are always with us on every fellowship. We appreciate your presence and treasure your support.

LB, thank you for your involvement and your unselfish acts of kindness in the fellowship and with the youth.

Frank, dear Frank, *smile. Do grace us with your presence every sat nite before you leave us for Down Under again.

Moses and James, though your 'attendance' were random, we appreciate you being there too.



Ah Goh! Wow... it was a surprise to see you with us. Welcome.

INDEED welcome and thank you to all who were there with us last nite, to witness the installation our new committee members. The food were in abundance!!!


Thanks Seniors in helping me putting across the whole point of last night's fellowsip.

Though we are many, we are ONE body in Christ.

LISTEN AND OBEY and the whole body will function properly and correctly.
